'Taku Turangawaewae' 'My Standing Place' Creative Tauranga Presents 4th Annual Waitangi Day Exhibition Creative Tauranga Art Gallery Willow Street Tauranga 3 - 21 Feburary 2011 Opening Night 5.30pm Kia Ora Koutou, Creative Tauranga Art Gallery have invited selected artists to visually create their expressions of 'Taku Turangawaewae' / 'My Standing Place' in relation to 'The Treaty of Waitangi. With such a diverse and dynamic collectivism of established artists from Tauranga, this will prove to be an exciting exhibition. A combination of artists that have exhibited nationally and internationally such as Linda Munn, Naomi Leonard, Dion Seeling and Debbie Tipuna, combined with Maraea TimuTimu, Justine Munn and Hipara August and others will be participating. Definitely an eclectic range of art-works that will provoke the mindset of history past and invite disscussion on this, New Zealand's national holiday..... So please join us, for the celebration of Waitangi Day, at Creative Tauranga gallery on opening night, 3rd Feburary 2011, for the exhibition 'Taku Tarangawaewae' / 'My Standing Place'.
